Apple estimates that had sold 180,000 Vision Pro units during pre-order. Apple launched the Vision Pro back in June, but formal pre-orders in the United States only began last week. Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo predicts that Apple sold between 160,000 and 180,000 Vision Pro units, which are currently sold out and shipping is expected in 5-7 weeks.

While initial demand is high, Kuo expects it will decrease once early adopters place their orders. Estimated shipment timeframes did not vary in the two days following the launch of the Vision Pro pre-orders, which is not typical for other Apple gadgets such as the iPhone, where demand continues to rise and shipping estimates steadily expand.
Kuo expects Apple to supply 500,000 Vision Pro systems by the end of the year.
