How to Read Voice Messages on WhatsApp? Voice message transcripts provide a written version of your voice messages. To use this feature, you’ll need to enable it on your device. Once it’s turned on, recipients of your voice messages can view the transcripts, but the sender cannot.
These transcripts are created directly on your device, ensuring that your messages stay private and protected by end-to-end encryption. Even WhatsApp can’t access the content of your voice messages or their transcripts. As for read receipts, they will work according to the privacy settings you have in place.
This functionality is supported on both Android and iPhone devices.
