How to Move Chrome Address Bar to Bottom for iPhone?
To be honest, I don’t feel comfortable using an iPhone browser that requires a search bar at the top. On an iPhone, Chrome now allows you to drag the address bar to the bottom. Let’s see how we can do it.
- On your iPhone, launch the Chrome app.
- Long-press the address bar and select “Move address bar to bottom”.
- Another option is to hit the three dots in the bottom-right corner of the screen, scroll through the icons, and then tap Settings.
- Tap on the Address Bar and then select Bottom. Finally, in the top-right corner, tap on Done.
- That’s all there is to it! The Chrome address bar will now appear at the bottom of your iOS device.
- You can repeat the process to move the search to the top.
So, as you can see, it’s very simple to shift the address bar to the bottom of Chrome on iOS. It’s great to see Google finally allowing iPhone users to customise the address bar to fit their hands and devices for a more personalised browsing experience. It’s an optional adjustment, and the top-oriented address bar remains the default. Keep in mind that Google has only recently begun to roll out this function, so it may take some time before it is broadly available to everyone.
