How to Silence Unknown WhatsApp Callers? Unwanted phone calls are a constant irritant and, in some cases, a source of stress for many smartphone users these days. Thankfully, iOS has an option to automatically quiet calls from unknown numbers, and you can now do the same for WhatsApp calls as well.
In June 2023, WhatsApp unveiled a new Mute Unknown Callers option for the encrypted messaging app. For further security, the business claims that it is meant to automatically screen out spam, fraud, and calls from unfamiliar people.
How to Silence Unknown WhatsApp Callers?
- Tap the Settings tab at the bottom of the WhatsApp window.
- Select Privacy.
- Tap on Calls.
- Toggle the Silence Unknown Callers switch on.
That’s the end of it. Unknown callers will not ring your phone if the setting is enabled, but they will be available in your Call list in case it is someone important.
