A “Ping My iPhone” button in the Control Centre allows you to locate your iPhone using your Apple Watch. Tapping the button causes your iPhone to generate an audible tone, making it easier to locate.

The feature is only available if your iPhone and Apple Watch are within Bluetooth range of each other and/or are connected to the same Wi-Fi network. If you believe your iPhone is further away, use the Find My iPhone app instead.

  1. Swipe up from the watch face on your Apple Watch (or click the Side button if you’re running watchOS 10 or later).
