WhatsApp, which is owned by Meta, is introducing a new feature that allows users to share “stickers” in channels. According to WaBetaInfo, this functionality is currently available to some beta testers and will be made available to more people in the following weeks.
WhatsApp adds a new feature that allows users to share stickers in channels
WhatsApp’s goal with this functionality was to greatly increase the channel content diversity. Users will discover a functionality to send stickers in channels after installing the latest WhatsApp beta for Android 2.23.24.19 version, which is available on the Google Play Store.

Stickers can now be sent in channels, albeit this is still limited to some beta testers. To see if this functionality is accessible for your WhatsApp account, simply upgrade the app to the most recent version available on the Google Play Store and open the keyboard in your own channel.
If the sticker option appears beside the emoji keyboard, it indicates you may begin sending stickers to your channel right away. It’s also worth noting that you may send animated stickers to your channels, which adds an extra degree of dynamism.
Adding the ability to transmit stickers in channels would allow channel owners to express themselves more vividly than with regular text. Stickers bring a new layer to communication by diversifying the information inside a channel and attracting and retaining user engagement through reactions.
