Xiaomi SU7 series variants and prices disclosed. Xiaomi has entered the electric vehicle (EV) industry with its inaugural electric vehicle, the SU7, which was released following last year’s announcement. The SU7 was unveiled in China today and is intended to compete with established competitors such as Tesla.

Available in four variants: SU7, SU7 Pro, SU7 Max, and a special Founder’s Edition. It has a stylish four-door sedan style with dimensions of 4,997 mm long, 1,963 mm wide, and up to 1,455 mm tall. It comes with 19-inch Michelin alloy wheels as standard across all models.

Price

The Xiaomi SU7 is available in three models, with prices starting as follows:

  1. SU7 Standard: 215,900 yuan (approximate USD 29,869 or Rs. 25,34,525).
  2. SU7 Pro: 245,900 yuan (approximate USD 34,020 or Rs 28,86,710).
  3. SU7 Max: 299,900 yuan (approximately USD 40490 or Rs. 35,20,634).

Speed

Xiaomi demonstrated the SU7’s performance capabilities during the launch ceremony. The high-end Max model can attain a top speed of 265 kmph, accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 2.78 seconds, and have a range of up to 810 km on a single charge.

The restricted Founders Edition, which features a dual-motor, four-wheel-drive powertrain, produces roughly 986 horsepower and goes from 0 to 100 kmph in 1.98 seconds.

Battery and Charging

Xiaomi has partnered with CATL to offer two battery options: a 73.6 kWh pack for entry-level variations and a larger 101 kWh pack for the top model. These batteries have at least 700 kilometres of range on a single charge. Additionally, a larger 150 kWh battery pack is planned for next year, with a range of 1,200 km.

The SU7’s revolutionary 486V and 871V designs enable ultra-fast charging. With just 15 minutes of charging, the EV can go 350 and 510 kilometres, respectively. It also includes Apple CarPlay and iPad compatibility.

Xiaomi Pilot Pro and Xiaomi Pilot Max are advanced driving assistance systems (ADAS). The City NOA pilot-assisted driving technology will begin testing in April and will be available in ten cities by May, before expanding countrywide shortly thereafter.

Colours

Available in four distinct colour series totalling nine colours, including Gulf Blue, Lava Orange, and Pearl White. These are available for order. Xiaomi SU7 / Xiaomi SU7 Max deliveries are slated to begin in late April, with Xiaomi SU7 Pro deliveries beginning in late May.

Booking

There are early booking discounts available until April 30th for car purchases worth 22,000 yuan.
