The firm appears to have added Playables to YouTube in order to provide more benefits with the subscription plan and make it more appealing to users. This might help Google boost the paid membership plan’s user base and deliver more cash to the site.

To use Playables, you must enable the experimental feature from this page. You will then be able to “Find a ‘Playables’ shelf by scrolling on Home or through a ‘Playables’ link in the Explore menu on desktop and mobile.” You can play any game by tapping on it. It’s worth noting that you won’t have to download anything to play these games.

There are currently 37 games in this department, including 8 Ball Billiards Classic, Carrom Clash, Angry Birds Showdown, and The Daily Crossword.

Google states that because this is an experimental function, it will be available until March 28, 2024. If there is enough demand, the firm may decide to extend the availability of Playables or make it a permanent component of the platform. If not, Google may discontinue this feature.

Netflix will also add games to its platform in 2021 to make it more appealing and value for money. It was only accessible on Android and iOS at the time. The business released it for TVs and the web a few months ago.
